first piper post!
i'm a new mom! i had a baby! i have a baby. it's incredible, unbelievable. we had no idea what to expect, but patrick and i are over the moon enjoying this time as a new family. we are exhausted. and my emotions are all over the place: elated. frustrated. amazed. i can't think straight half the day. or half the night. (which is which anymore anyway?) in fact, about to fall asleep at my laptop. but i just love this little girl! so here are some pictures, as promised.

Oh I gush! She's so perfectly beautiful and amazing! She looks like a commercial baby, round head, tiny feet. Perfect little eyes. Model pout. And you're very good at swaddling... Congrats again. I know this is the roller coaster time, you're doing great. Piper is one lucky kid.
